I saw an an article that got me thinking-
36% OF OBITUARIES USE A PHOTO THAT'S AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD:
So just HOW VAIN have we become as a society?
--Well, a new study from Ohio State University found that in 1967, 17% of people used a photo in their obituary that was at least 15 years old . . . meaning they were much younger in the picture than when they died.
--But by 1997, that number had increased to 36%.
--Overall, women are more than TWICE as likely to use an obituary photo from when they were younger . . . than men.
--A guy named Keith Anderson led the study. He says, quote, "Obituaries and their photographs are one reflection of our society at a particular moment in time . . . Our findings suggest we were less accepting of aging in the 1990s than we were back in the '60s."
--In other words, we've all become so vain that more than ONE in THREE of us still insist on looking our best . . . even when we're dead. (???)

So, I found this photo, which I believe captured me at my best, even with the Miami Vice colored shirt and the Conway Twitty hair. When I croak, this is how I'd like to be remembered. Thank you!
